Yvan Rodic is a man about town and one hell of a photographer, though you may know him best by his artist alter-ego moniker, Facehunter.

We’ve always said, “no rest for the weary,” and when you’re dealing with Fashion Week, the saying goes above and beyond the 6-inch heels we’ve seen at Milk Studios this week (seriously, how do you ladies even wear those??). Between our Kanon bar located on the 8th floor, checking out shows, talking to designers like Carlos Campos, and general cocktail research with the folks from Apotheke–we’ve been busy. That being said, we’re never too busy for a good party and a good time. When the folks from Apotheke invited us to their new bar called Pulqueria to help toast AnOther Magazine's 21st issue launch last night, we grabbed our dancing shoes and headed straight to Chinatown. Hidden on one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it side streets whose only indication of a bar last night was the large smoking crowd outside, Pulqueria is set up like a fancy cantina. Awesome. Upon our arrival, we were led down a narrow dark staircase that opened up to a bar exploding with music and good looking people.

We immediately spotted Byrdie Bell, our shot buddy Kate Lanphear, Waris Ahluwalia, and FOKS Bronques and Facehunter doing what they do best (aka finding all the best looking people in the place). Between the serious eye candy, delicious drinks (think margaritas WITH VODKA), and cigars being passed around, everyone was in a good mood. And as for the resting part? Well, the only resting we saw was people leaning up against the bar for more drinks. Here’s a look at the night in photos, from the perspective of our favorite lensman, Yvan Rodic.

Check out the rest of the photos from the night on our Facebook page.

  • Face Hunter Takes Montauk

When you've had too much fun partying (if there is such a thing) on any given night, and things start to get a bit fuzzy, it’s always helpful to have great photog friends around who you can count on to document things–for better or worse. And like we’ve always said, our FOKs are a talented bunch. Enter Yvan Rodic, perhaps better known as Face Hunter, whose blog of seriously gorgeous people and good times realized is on our docket of daily reads.

Yvan may be a European transplant, but you wouldn’t know that from the crazy amount of American flags he surrounded himself with on 4th of July weekend in Montauk when he documented our unforgettable weekend for “The Face Hunter Show.” Between visits with friends like Ben Pundole and Ben Watts before their Shark Attack Soundz party at Rick’s Crabby Cowboy Café (where the best looking crowd we’ve ever seen danced for hours, Kanon in hand) and hanging with Scott Lipps at his home in "HamptonBridge" (as Yvan calls it) to our sundown party at Ruschmeyer’s, Yvan’s Montauk tour already has us planning our next trip. Check out his video here–but be warned. It’ll make you start strategizing excuses to ditch work in favor of flagging down the next Jitney outta town.

If you've ever been to Montauk for 4th of July weekend, you know all too well that Ben Pundole's Shark Attack Soundz party is the place to be. The fact that it's held at a spot called Rick's Crabby Cowboy Café should be your first clue as to why. But with one of the hottest guest lists we've ever seen (three words: Victoria's Secret models), an awesome roster of DJs including Chelsea Leyland, Cheeky Pantz and Pun Geezy, inflatable shark props, and yours truly heading up the cocktails, it really was a recipe for a perfect summer night. Naomi Watts even posed for a few photos (see above for proof). Wherever you celebrated this year, we hope it was the best July 4th weekend of your life–but next year, make sure to come visit us out in Montauk. You won't regret it.

Check out some of our favorite pictures from the night courtesy of our FOK, Yvan Rodic–aka Facehunter.

Here's to life, liberty, and the pursuit of a delicious cocktail.

  • Facehunter Takes Manhattan Part 2

Longtime friend of Kanon Yvan Rodic, also known as The Facehunter, and W recently launched part two of his video series on their site. Last week, we gave you a peek at his day spent in SoHo searching for The One, and now in part two he's ventured to the Meatpacking to see what style and unexpected beauty he can find on the nearly empty cobblestone streets. Rodic even stopped by one of our favorite spots, the Jane Hotel, for a night out with Kanon. "That's the beauty of what I do and the romantic side of the hunting; you never know what's going to happen. Finally after hours and hours, you find the most beautiful person in the world," Rodic says. So does he find this in the end? Well, you'll just have to see for yourself.

  • Watch Now: Facehunter Takes Manhattan

What can we say? It's Monday and nothing we could say makes that any better. But we'll definitely try to ease the pain with a bit of entertainment to distract you from the fact that you most likely spent the day sober and working. On a holiday. Featured on the site Nowness, "Facehunter Takes Manhattan" follows our well-coiffed FOK, style photog Yvan Rodic (a.k.a. Facehunter), doing what he does best – tracking down style on the streets of Manhattan.

Directed by fellow FOK, Alexander Klein, the film gives us a peek behind the lens and shows Yvan in his natural habitat. Perhaps our favorite part: the short film follows Facehunter to a Kanon dinner at The Fat Radish, one of the most memorable nights we spent with friends in 2010. There's even a couple cameos from two of our favorites, Steven Rojas and Chrissie Miller – and yours truly, of course. And we never turn down a well-placed cameo.

We're sure you've all heard of our FOK (Friend of Kanon) Yvan Rodic, though you probably know him best as style photographer Facehunter. Last night, he showed off some of his amazing photography at the W Hotel in Times Square and we were there to help out with some signature cocktails and an adoring eye. Here's a look at some of his own photos from the event. And you thought there was nothing worth going to Times Square for...

  • FÖK Portrait Series with Yvan Rodic

It kind of sucks going to a foreign city and wandering the streets filled with gorgeous girls who don’t speak your language. You’re in limbo. You can approach and stumble out a few butchered words of French or Swedish coupled with a half-assed pantomime and usually get a “I don’t know what the hell you’re saying and you scare me”-look. There is a loophole, though. Buy a camera. All of sudden those scared and annoyed looks turn coquettish and intrigued by the intrepid foreigner armed with a lens and some bravado. It’s true. Watch Yvan Rodic approach a ridiculous blonde in Soho. You see her face somehow express curiosity, arousal, and flattery at the same time. It also helps if you have your own book. Not just a book, like a book with your actual name on it. Damn you, Yvan.
