When we arrived at Milk Studios on Friday night to celebrate the launch of the new book "White Girl Problems," we knew we were in for a crazy time. It's just to be expected when throwing a party with the queen of tweeting, Babe Walker. The drinks were flowing (obviously–we were there), and we even overheard that our lemonade-based cocktail "The Babe" was the perfect vodka-filled Master Cleanse alternative for partygoers (you're welcome).

In the words of Ms. Walker, we went 'psycho' with all sorts of fabulous guests hanging about, including figure skater Johnny Weir who was rocking some serious studded boots, and Susan Sarandon, along with a bevy of FOKs. DJ Mia Moretti kept the crowd happy with her set of feel-good throwback tunes, all while quintessential white girl problems were projected onto a wall. But as far as we were concerned, we had no problems at all–with a trio of cocktails to taste, a new funny read in hand, and The Babe's seal of approval, how could we? Check out the photos from the night to see who else was battling their own #whitegirlproblems and forgetting about them with a Kanon cocktail.

  • Babe Walker (aka White Girl Problem's) Guide to a Night Out and Other Important Life Things

If we're jealous of anyone's ability to be retweeted, it's @whitegrlproblem, aka Babe Walker, the personality behind 2011's favorite Twitter handle. And apparently tweeting can spawn book deals now, because she's written her own namesake memoir which releases today. In anticipation of the book launch party on Friday, which we'll be stocking full of vodka (straight, most likely, for less calorie consumption), we had a chat with Babe Walker to get her complete guide on going out––and you know, other serious life issues.

Kanon Vodka: So, if you had any fun the night before, you're likely feeling a little rough the morning after--what are your hangover cures?

Babe Walker: First of all, hi. I’m battling a hangover right now so I’m going to try my best not to lose it on you during this little chat, but please don’t be alarmed if I burst into tears at any time. Anyways, the best and only hangover cure is to take 6-8 bottles of alkalized water into your dry sauna with you the moment you wake up. Drink each bottle slowly over the course of 3 hours, then fall asleep for the rest of the day. In your sauna. Make sure your maid or boyfriend is checking your pulse every fifteen minutes, obvi.

KV: What's your best advice for avoiding annoying people at a party?

BW: Sending a friend to find out who’s there before you walk in.

KV: Let's talk outfits--what's your signature night out look?

BW: I am a complete free spirit, which you’ll learn to love about me if you read my memoir that just came out. So, I’m constantly changing my going out look. Last night I wore nothing but a fur cape and Loubs.

KV: What should someone never be seen in on a Saturday night?

BW: Anything they’ve worn within the last year.

KV: Song that's guaranteed to get you on the dance floor?

BW: Major Lazer - "Original Don"

KV: How do you handle a less than amazing DJ?

    BW: By leaving.

KV: How do you make sure a party photog gets your best angle?

BW: Easier said than done. When I walk into a room I find the corner with the dimmest light, yet not too dim. I feature a romantically lit area to pull up my cheek bones and shine my hair. Then I post up until the photog finds me lurking there. Snap, snap, smile whatever, then before he/she can walk away I grab the camera and delete any photos that don’t pass.

    KV: Drunk-eating--discuss.

BW: I refuse...to do it and to talk about it. Too dark.

KV: How did you get so many followers on Twitter?

    BW: No f*cking clue.

KV: What is the quintessential white girl problem?

BW: At least one person asks me this daily. So, probably you asking me that.

KV: What's the best part about writing a book?

BW: Being alone 24/7. JK. I’m kind of depressed.

KV: Most retweeted WGP of all time?

BW: I think it was something about un-f*cking one of my ex-boyfriends that I tweeted one night when I was at home watching an Academy Screener of Drive. Ryan Gosling makes me sad I’ve ever laid eyes on anyone else.

KV: What's your advice for someone who wants to be like you?

BW: The best way to be like me is to be like you, really, really f*cking hard.

KV: What's next for White Girl Problem?

BW: My memoir which comes out Jan 31st, my blog www.babewalker.com, which just launched, NY fashion week, a kale smoothie, the 12-hour sauna nap I’m about to take, and probably a facial tomorrow. No, definitely a facial tomorrow.
