  • Kanon Organic Vodka Events

Kanon is famous for their intimate parties whether they are in Stockholm, California, or New York.  Here is a selection of some of our recent events.

We say "What's Up" to Gia Coppola's Film Screening For Wren Spring 2012

People who plan Sunday night parties basically become our insta-friends. Which is why we can now add a few more cool girls to our growing friendship circle. To celebrate Wren's 2012 collection, Gia Coppola hosted a screening of her film What's Up? (directed by Leith Clark of Lula Magazine), at TENOVERSIX's Melrose store. The film featured pieces from the Wren collection, designed by Melissa Coker.

Needless to say (especially if you're taking the super chic hosts into consideration), it was quite the gathering of cool kids. Clémence Poésy, Rumi Neely, Victoria Bergsman, Jared Eng and Vena Cava designer Sophie Buhai were just some of the recognizable faces to stroll through. But the highlight of our night had to be taste testing the cocktail trio crafted by Coppola and Clark. Lavender-infused vodka anyone?

    Fear and Loathing in ATL

If we had any doubts that Atlanta could keep up with New York City's awesome shindigs, those were quickly put to rest this weekend after we spent time at ATL's ABV Gallery. The gallery, whose name aptly stands for "A Better View," provided just that this weekend with their new exhibition "Fear and Loathing in ATL." The play off the Hunter S. Thompson novel made for quite the spectrum of art, from colorful cartoons atop skateboards, to abstract paintings, to more literal riffs off the Las Vegas theme--all from an array of artists. Naturally, to take things up another notch, we provided the cocktails to ensure everyone left having had the best time possible. Turns out, it was a record breaking event for the gallery, with 1000 plus guests weaving in and out of the art space throughout the evening.

THVM's Artist Series Event in SF

We kicked off March last week with the first fête in San Fran at Bastille to help denim brand Thvm celebrate their "Artist Series"-- a showcase of curated works from emerging artists all done on denim. Pretty cool stuff. Our old friends at Refinery29 were also on hand to snap the coolest street style looks of the night, and of course, help us finish off a substantial amount of vodka.

NYLON Guys Brings Out The Hunger Games Crew For Dinner at LA's Palihouse

NYLON Guys dinner was the perfect thing to get us over that mid-week hump. Surrounded by a ton of cast members from upcoming flick The Hunger Games, plenty of pumped up kicks from PF Flyers and amazing eats from the Palihouse, one thing's for certain--we were definitely not left hungry nor bored by the end of the night. Plus, even the dessert (a chocolate muffin brulee) arrived at our table in a cocktail glass. Major bonus points.

Geoffrey Zakarian Hosts Martha Stewart, Bobby Flay and More For South Beach Lunch

Each time we go to Miami, we swear we're never going to leave--because what could be better than lazing about in the sun with a cocktail in hand? Nothing. Well, almost nothing. This weekend we took the MIA food scene by storm by teaming up with renowned chef and restaurateur Geoffrey Zakarian to host what had to be the best barbecue in recent history. We're talking a whole pig roast, freshly-made salsa and guacamole, two specially crafted cocktails (for recipes, click here), and an insane guest list that had us sipping Kanon cocktails alongside Martha Stewart.

Panda-Monium at Nicola Formichetti x Tumblr Party

We often say this, but it truly was panda-monium at Red Egg Wednesday night where we honored Nicola Formichetti and his new venture with Tumblr. We say that because not only was there a serious amount of panda-related paraphernalia (Nicola's mascot) hanging everywhere, but there was also a copious amount of Kanon behind the bar. Which, you know, always makes everyone a little crazy (in a good way).

Last Magazine Saves The Best NYFW For Last

The Last Magazine party marked a lot of lasts for us. The last party of Fashion Week. The last specialty Kanon cocktail we'll be creating for the week's festivities. The last time we'll be seeing Jared Leto until next September...and all in honor of the Last Magazine's latest issue.

But being the spontaneous folks that we are, there were also a lot of firsts involved. Like our first time drinking green pepper flavored cocktails, and our first time trying out awesome sunnies brand Prism (every dinner guest was gifted their own sweet pair). And of course, there were some constants handed down from last year's amazing party with the magazine–the top-notch crowd for one. The list of notables in attendance is way too overwhelming to go through here, but just to give you a taste, we'll mention that Terry Richardson, Richard Chai, Alexandra Richards, Brad Goreski, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Jenne Lombardo, Johan Lindeberg, Lindsay Wixson, Phillip Lim and Chelsea Leyland were all in attendance.

LoveCat Magazine Celebrates The Kills' 10th Anniversary

Partnering with model fanzine LoveCat is always an enlightening experience (read: models...everywhere). This time around, it was an appearance from The Kills to celebrate their 10th anniversary and free-flowing cocktails all night (duh), all within the space of the cool, new Dream Downtown. We spent the night dancing to beats from Ellie Dee, Dave Katz, and BP Fallon while people like Nur Khan, Allison Mosshart, Rose McGowan and Brad Goreski strolled by. No big deal.

How To Make The Most Man-Repelling Cocktail...Ever

You’d think that man repelling would be essentially impossible when cocktails are involved—ahem, social lubrication. But, oh no, not when Leandra Medine the official Man Repeller, is involved. At the Webster Miami's soiree, we paired up with our fave harem-pants wearing, pattern-clashing FOK to create the drink least likely to attract attention from the male species. That’s right, behold our bright pink, fruity, cherry-adorned cocktail—The Man Repeller.

Celebrating Our SF Launch With Honestly WTF and Friends

We're used to throwing major FOMO-enducing events, but sometimes a smaller intimate dinner is just what the doctor ordered. Especially when it's in celebration of something that's got food and mixology so entrenched in its DNA. If we've lost you, we're talking about our official launch into San Francisco – a mecca of great food and most importantly, expertly crafted cocktails. To kick that notion off with a bang, we enlisted master mixologists Cocktail Lab and "clandestine dining" specialists, Stag Dining Group to treat our guests to a delicious pairing dinner. We even had our FOKs, Erica and Lauren of Honestly WTF in attendance to add a bit of DIY flair to the tablescapes.

In From Sweden: The Elle Awards

Starting the new year with a kick-ass party is pretty much the only way we do it around here, so we provided the libations (and let's be honest, the fun) for The Elle Awards in Sweden. As the first international awards hosted by the magazine, it brought out 800 of the biggest fashion names in Sweden as well as international guests – including supermodel Caroline Winberg and singer Elin Lanto just to a name a couple.

LoveCat Magazine's Art Issue Release Party At Pulqueria

Upon arrival at the underground Chinatown hot-spot Pulqueria last night, we descended the dark stairs into a crowded room filled with the hippest of the hip. Song after song made us want to dance as the 90s pulsated through the speakers (thank you Chelsea Leyland and Mia Moretti!)- we're talking House of Pain's "Jump Around" played back to back with Ace of Base's "The Sign." Does it get much better? The bar itself was decorated with the covers of LoveCat mag's Art Issue, for which notorious street artist Mr. Brainwash created Warhol-esque portraits of the man himself, as well as supermodel Cindy Crawford.

In From Sweden: Happy Socks x Terry Richardson

There's really no place better than home during the holiday season, especially when home entails some fine Scandinavian-style partying. We kicked off winter with our friends and fellow Swedes at Happy Socks, who recently premiered a new series of portraits shot by FOK Terry Richardson at local gallery So Stockholm. Partygoers had the opportunity to shoot their own Richardson-inspired ad at the photo station, complete with props and, of course, an assemblage of top notch socks. And with the assistance of our signature Kanon shot machines (we didn't even bother with cocktails this time), even the most camera-shy of guests couldn't resist sneaking in front of the lens for their own model moment.

Pringle of Scotland Party Pics Starring The One and Only Tilda Swinton

Pringle of Scotland set up a pop-up shop during the art festival and held a dinner for a few of their closest (and might we add, coolest) friends. Think Tilda Swinton (who co-hosted the soiree), Waris AhluwaliaThe Misshapes, and our FOKs from The Last Magazine, Tenzin Wild and Magnus Berger, just to name a few. Socializing amongst the guests as well? A few of our Kanon cocktails like our cucumber lemonade that we specially prepared for the event at Serpentine Gallery.

BLK DNM Launches Their First Fragrance in Art Basel

We spent some time in the 305 kicking it at Art Basel with some of our favorite FOKs, and let us tell you: this crowd seriously puts the "art" in "party." We hit The Webster for the worldwide launch of BLK DNM's 11 Fragrance, which featured a crew of international cool kids including Andre Saraiva, Darell Hartman, Waris Ahluwaria, Aaron Young, and the man of the hour, Mr. Johan Lindeberg. Check out all the photos from BLK DNM's soiree, one of our favorite yet.

Kicking Off Art Basel With The Webster's Case Scenario x Pantone Luncheon

We kicked off our Miami Basel takeover in style along with our friends at Refinery29, who hosted a luncheon at The Webster to celebrate the launch of Case Scenario's new iPhone accessory collection. The colorful crowd, which included the likes of Kristian Laliberte, Elizabeth von Guttman, Giovanna Bataglia and John Lin, enjoyed an afternoon of delicious canapes and fresh guava infused cocktails inspired by Pantone's "The Webster Pink" atop one of South Beach's hippest rooftops. Day drinking on a Wednesday under the Miami sun? We couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the week's festivities.

In From Sweden: SOLO Celebrates 30 Years Of Awesomeness

Solo, a Swedish retailer known for its impeccable selection of denim, celebrated its 30th anniversary last week in Gothenburg, Sweden along with Roy Ghazizadeh - and calling it the party of the year wouldn't be an exaggeration. Between the insanely beautiful people in attendance and our legendary shot machine (all bias aside, it’s quite the set up), the night was a hard one to beat.

In From Sweden: Cheap Monday Turns Creepy Into Cool At Their Underwear Launch

We hosted the party in Statens Bakteriologiska Laboratorium (aka the Government's Bacterilogical Laboratory), a former research facility just outside of Stockholm that was shut down in 1993 and has been empty ever since--mildly terrifying, incredibly cool. We took the creepy factor and ran with it, by turning the old cooling room for lab samples into our serving station, where Kanon shots were doled from our crazy-looking 1937 shot machines. To take it even further, the party's centerpiece was none other than a sick art installation by Antwerp artist Frederik Heyman, complete with lasers and smoke machines. Oh, and did we mention that all of the Kanon cocktailswere glow-in-the-dark? Yeah, it was a party for the ages.

FOK Chrissie Miller Opens Up New NYC Store- 143 Ludlow

One of the best parts about New York is that there's always something new and exciting happening. And because we work with an arsenal of such talented friends and FOKs, there's usually plenty of opportunity to raise a glass because of a job well done by someone we love. So it goes without saying that when Chrissie Miller told us about her new venture, a store called 143 Ludlow (located at the same address) and meaning "I love you" in pager code, well, there really wasn't much to say no to. Opened in conjunction with fellow designer Lindsey Thornburg, the Lower East Side spot has all sorts of cool wares from the twosome, and if the opening crowd was any indication of how hot this spot will be (think model Jessica Stam, Cory Kennedy, Drea de Matteo, Charlotte Ronson) - count us in for several visits.

Drinking To Terry Richardson- And Of Course His "Mom And Dad"

We'd like to think that every party we go to is extremely memorable (albeit a bit fuzzy after a Kanon cocktail or three). But even we'd be hard-pressed to admit that Friday's fête in celebration of Terry Richardson's new book "Mom and Dad" wasn't one for the ages. We started out the night with a dinner at Acme, a new spot from the owners of Indochine, with one of the most beautiful and hip crowds we've been around (and that's saying something). When it came time for the afterparty, we headed towards one of the most intense shindigs we've ever attended at Westway. Complete with an Olsen sighting, a DJ set by Venus (whose green locks were quite the eye-catcher), and intense dance party – the night was off to a rocking success.

WeSC x The Standard x Kanon At Le Bain

We love to toast to friends and FOKs on a job well done. Always a cause for celebration, right? What's even better is when forces combine to create double the cause for celebration (at least in our eyes). We stopped by The Standard to check out their collaboration with the super-hip (and might we add, Swedish) company WeSC. Think amazing leather travel accessories like passport holders and luggage tags and a sweet set of headphones that we're highly coveting. Cheryl Dunn was on hand throughout the night as one of the directors of the short city-centric films The Standard and WeSC have been using to promote the collab.

Kanon And Steven Alan Both Celebrate Their First Parties In SF

To kick off our Northern California expansion, we teamed up with our friends at Refinery29 to celebrate the opening of Steven Alan's first ever San Francisco store in Hayes Valley. The cult favorite casual cool designer has stocked his newest outpost with the latest pieces from his eponymous collection, as well as his favorite items from other vintage-inspired brands imbued with Americana spirit like Whit, Common Projects, and Filson. The boutique's art and decor also draw from local sources such as the Alameda Fleamarket and various stores in the Mission. Among the guests were a flurry of local fashion folk, the likes of which included designer Alex Valdman, Blushing Ambition blogger Annabel Ly, and even the head honcho himself, Mr. Steven Alan.

Guest FOK Blogger: Signe Siemsen Joins Out Halloween Animal House

By morning, everyone usually has a different take on the previous night’s activities. That’s why we always like to see how our FOKs took in the scene- especially on nights that get particularly wild. Case in point, the Marc by Marc Jacobs Halloween party. We had FOK and gorgeous blogger, Signe Siemsen, hit the scene and report back on her night.

In From Sweden: Extending Halloween Celebrations With Marc by Marc Jacobs

There are few yearly events we love more than Halloweekend, as evidenced by the fun we had with LoveCat Magazine, at LACMA's Tim Burton-inspired party, and with Chelsea Handler at the Standard's Sinners and Saints soiree. And we couldn't think of any better way to lift our spirits – that is, until we were informed that in Sweden, Halloween comes as a week-long holiday package. We teamed up with Marc by Marc Jacobs, Freshnet and IBEYOSTUDIO to throw an animal-themed Halloween rager that got a little wild, to say the least.

When Life Gives You Lemons...Build an Adult Lemonade Stand

We toasted for a good cause, when we joined forces with Alex's Lemonade Stand, an organization that seeks to find a cure to all childhood cancer. To celebrate the second annual LA Loves Alex's Lemonade Stand party, we spent the day pouring cocktails for our new friends on the West Coast (ahem Neil Patrick Harris), while Jimmy Kimmel took over the mic to emcee some serious cook-offs between LA's hottest chefs.

    Welcome Warby Parker To LA

We love a company based on the idea of helping others, and Warby Parker does just that. With every pair of glasses purchased from Warby Parker, the brand donates a pair to someone in need with the help of VisionSpring.org. We had the honor of celebrating with the founding team, known for their “eyewear with a purpose,” along with host Ashton Kutcher at Confederacy as they welcomed the company to LA. The evening called for plenty of Kanon cocktails which were enjoyed all evening by a chic group of our four-eyed (at least for a night) fashion friends, including a few of our That 70’s Show favorites.

Happy Halloween: Kanon Parties Tim Burton-Style At LACMA

When you think of the insanely creative and crazy world of Tim Burton, a lot comes to mind. Imagine channeling his quirky, macabre vibe, a series of costumes inspired by the director's most famous movies, and Kanon cocktails into a party at Los Angeles' LACMA museum. Believe us, It was everything you could imagine and more. Burton enthusiasts gathered at LACMA where the BP Grand Entrance Boneyard served as a stage for the 25-piece band Killsonic, who stormed through awakening the dead with their electric performance. People sipped our signature cocktail while waiting for one of the party's most popular attractions- getting their costumes judged by our friends The Bumbys

Saints And Sinners All Drink Kanon: Celebrating Halloween At The Standard

As the saying goes, we like to think we're getting better with age. Case in point: topping ourselves once again this year for Halloween at the Standard Hotel, a venue that we think takes the prize for best place to hang on the spooky holiday year in and year out. And with famous faces like power couple Chelsea Handler and Andre Balazs, Russell Simmons, and Adrien Brody weaving in and out of the crowd and dodging waitresses with trays of cotton candy for the taking, (and of course with Kanon behind the bar), the competition have a hard act to follow.

Superheroes Abound At The Ace Hotel's 826NYC Benefit

It's not often you get invited to view fashions inspired by superheroes, because trust us, if we did, fashion week would elevate itself to epic proportions. We stopped by The Ace Hotel to celebrate 826NYC's benefit. The nonprofit organization supports students with their creative writing and runs an amazing store calledThe Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. The store presented their Spring 2012 collection in the form of crime-fighting attire designed by the folks at Jack SpadeOpening Ceremony, and United Bamboo to name a few.

The Best Part of CMJ: Kanon Crowd Surfs With Spin and The Rapture

Imagine walking into a room and instantly smelling the sweet scent of our basil lemonade cocktails while simultaneously getting enveloped in a fog machine. Sign of a good night, right? That's exactly how we felt when we walked into Spin Magazine's party. Co-hosted by Ray-Ban sunglasses and with Kanon's Basil Lemonade and Salty Dog on the menu, #spinflipout definitely had us at hello.  The night also included performances by A-Trak, The Rapture, and Crystal Castles.

    SHFT.Com's Pop-up Store Launch

We’ll never turn down a good party, especially if it’s for a good cause. We joined our friends at SHFT.com for the launch of their pop-up store. Founders Peter Glatzer and actor Adrian Grenier were on hand to show us the pop-up shop, which features pieces with a sustainable angle – think everything from beauty products to snowboards and furniture.

Pharrell and ?Uestlove Rock CMJ At Mr.H

We continued our planned takeover of the music industry--fashion isn't enough for us, you see. So we headed out to one of our go-to spots, Mister H at the Mondrian SoHo, for more CMJ action. This time we got in touch with our inner hip-hop roots and feted the A Tribe Called Quest doc, "Beats, Ryhmes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest." Party-goers got crunk with Kanon-filled cocktails, and danced the night away thanks to the spinning talents of our DJ, ?uestlove.

Celebrating CMJ with Nylon, Josh Madden, Bleech and More

We wanted to soak up as much music possible during CMJ, we stopped by Tammany Hall for Nylon Magazine’s party to celebrate the launch of Aerial 7 headphones' collaboration with Kangol. Brit band Bleech played an awesome set that was followed by even more awesome tunes handpicked by DJ Josh Madden

William Yan Snaps Uniqlo USA's Grand Opening Event

It's rare that we venture into the heart of Midtown after the sun sets, but we made a noteworthy exception to celebrate the opening of beloved Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo's newest flagship store – and might we add, the biggest one EVER. The purveyor of all things minimal hosted a hell of a shindig replete with twelve (yes, you read that correctly) Kanon bars and James Murphy behind the turntables, as well as a live performance from the one and only Santigold.

In From Sweden: Kanon Salutes Monki's Stockholm Opening

When a brand describes their world and stores as “the strange Forgotten Forest, the bio-hazardous City of Oil and Steel or the magical Sea of Scallops”-- well, how can that not catch your attention? So when brand Monki opened their new flagship at the Gallerian in Stockholm we knew we had to be a part of it.

In From Sweden: Johan Lindeberg's BLK DNM Opening

We attended the opening of the BLK DNM store to see the latest and highly-anticipated line from Johan Lindeberg. We had to check out his new Stockholm digs, especially since we love his New York location so much. With a packed store and a selection of Kanon cocktails to choose from, we had the fashionable crowd imbibing in good times and great buys.

In From Sweden: Drinking and Shopping At Marc Jacobs, Stockholm

The always fashion-forward Swedes have been celebrating fashion since August. We helped toast the night away (and possibly encouraged some post-cocktail shopping) at Stockholm’s Fashion's Night Out earlier this summer at the Marc Jacobs store on Smålandsgatan 10. While drinking and shopping may not seem like the smartest pairing (for your wallet at least), Kanon was in full force amongst the fashionistas.

Yvan Rodic Captures AnOther Mag's Party at Pulqueria

We’ve always said, “no rest for the weary,” and when you’re dealing with Fashion Week, the saying goes above and beyond the 6-inch heels we saw at Milk Studios. We were never too busy for a good party and a good time. When the folks from Apotheke invited us to their new bar called Pulqueria to help toast AnOther Magazine's 21st issue launch, we grabbed our dancing shoes and headed straight to Chinatown with FOK Yvan Rodic

Fashion's Night Out With Honestly WTF

Kanon cocktails were out and about this Fashion Week, hitting the town in full force. To celebrate Fashion’s Night Out, we wanted to go out with a bang and take over with as many FOKs and friends as possible. Our first stop of the night? Hanging out with the Honestly WTF girls, Lauren and Erica, at Free People in the Flatiron. We shopped, made bracelets after a quick (much needed) tutorial, and hung around the bar (location is everything, people).

Kicking Off Fashion Week With Scott Lipps and One Model Management

When we say we’ve been amongst really good looking crowds before, we haven’t exaggerated – but we might have to say that the party celebrating One Model Management’s 10th anniversary takes the cake. Hordes of models and generally beautiful people filled Hiro ballroom including Russell Simmons, and a couple of our fave actors, Adrian Grenier and Alexander Skarsgård. The ultimate highlight of the evening had to be the performance from Courtney Love, who stole the show with covers, older tunes, and calling the crowd a bunch of “90s revitalists” when they swooned over an old hit of hers.

Surfs Up: Confederacy and Therasurf Drink To Do Good

We rang in the end of summer best coast style along with the fine folks of Confederacy, which opened in 2008 by actor Danny Masterson and stylist Ilaria Urbinati. The 5,000 square foot art and fashion mecca in Silverlake served as the perfect backdrop for a decidedly Los Angeles crowd of sunkissed babes, scruffy surfer dudes, and a requisite helping of actors like Krysten Ritter and our host for the evening, Scott Caan. DJ Momjeans held it down on the ones and twos while guests mixed, mingled, shopped, and of course sipped their fair share of specially-crafted Kanon cocktails.

Celebrating Charlotte Ronson's New Beauty Collection

Charlotte Ronson is one of those people we've always considered a perfect potential FOK, it was really just a matter of finding the right way to work with her. That perfect opportunity came in the form of new beginnings (the launch of CR's beauty collection for Sephora), a bevy of friends (who surrounded us at the dinner celebration at Hotel Chantelle), and vodka cupcakes, the perfect dessert crafted by bakery Desi Lu Sweets to finish off an already fantastic night. Within minutes of entering said party, we were already surrounded by FOKs like Faran Krentcil and Becka Diamond and blogger Katy Atlas of Sugarlaws– more proof that Charlotte was perfect for us from the start.

In From Sweden: Cafe and Elle Magazine Toast To Stockholm Fashion Week

What happens when you put the fashion elite of Sweden on a rooftop terrace with loads of Kanon Vodka and a view of Stockholm City? Elle Magazine and Cafe Magazine teamed up to sip cocktails and celebrate Stockholm Fashion Week with Sweden's finest designers, editors and fashion fiends. After carrying our 500 pound Kanon bar up six flights of stairs to the party (yes, we mean business), we were certainly ready for some libation, which came in the form of our "Herbal Verde."

In From Sweden: Vodka and Fashion at Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair

We just can't help but be reminded of our Swedish roots sometimes. So when Swedish brand Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair invited us along to celebrate their recent runway show, we jumped on board without hesitation. A packed house at Stockholm's Sven Harrys Konstmuseum (so packed in fact that even a few major bloggers had to stand in their tall stilettos to catch a glimpse) took in the show while sipping on Kanon cocktails. We were excited to meet up with friends both old and new – new being ones like Cafe Magazine's Daniel Lindström, and old –  running into our very own FOKYvan Rodic.

Enjoying Arts & Leisure with Chrissie Miller & The Beastie Boys' Mike D

Being a bit new to the LA scene, we were especially psyched when FOK Chrissie Miller decided to bring all our New York friends out west. She's officially taken over Los Angeles with her pop-up shop concept Arts & Leisure, which brings together all sorts of wares from New York-based artists and designers under one roof–and she's taken us along for the ride. Things kicked off with Mike D from the Beastie Boys who hosted a screening of his music videos. Seeing one of our favorite musicians in person with great tunes blasting from the speakers was surreal, to say the least.

Escape To New York's Ultimate Bloody Mary Brunch

At Escape to New York, there was really no competition as far as featured cocktails go. The Kanon Bloody Mary was the star of the show–well, besides Patti Smith, Edward Sharpe and the other amazing acts we got to see perform. But since the final day of the festival was cancelled due to torrential downpours, our Bloody Mary got its very own day to shine during the official Escape to New York brunch put on by our friends from The Fat Radish. There were plenty of avocado toasts to go around, and the endless pitchers of Bloody Marys were one of our favorite sights of the entire festival weekend.

Crazy Weekend Recap: Escape to New York

There's really only one word to describe the Escape to New York music festival in Southampton, and that would be CRAZY. As the first go-around of Fred Fellows' American answer to London's famous Secret Garden Party, a bit of chaos was to be expected – but we didn't let that or the rain ruin our fun. We split our time hanging out in the glamping area (that's code for "glamorous camping") with cool kids like Ben Towill and Phil Winser of The Fat Radish, Coco Rocha, Alexander Skarsgård, Chelsea Leyland and Waris Ahuwalia, and at the actual festival grounds on the Shinnecock Reservation a few miles away.

Day-drinking at Impulse Group's Soaked Pool Party

We have learned through hands-on experience that a party with props is a party that we always want to be at. That fantasy finally came true at a pool party (aptly named "SOAKED"), headed up by the recently founded gay health awareness organization Impulse, who also happen to be the group behind the well-known AIDS Health Foundation. We love to toast groups of people who are doing good in the world, thus, we were happy to celebrate the organization's goal of educating the gay community on health issues in a modern way (read: no scare tactics)–especially when said education involves lounging poolside and washing down tacos with a few Kanon Rosemary Lemonades.

NYLON and Kanon Toast to Olivia Wilde's August Cover

Every now and then, you come across a moment that feels quintessentially city-perfect. And as of last night, we think we've officially found out what it means to have a very “LA night." But when you spend the evening rubbing elbows with the likes of gorgeous actress Olivia Wilde, in celebration of her August cover for NYLON Magazine’s denim issue, that feeling just seems to come with the territory. Between the delicious menu, lively ambiance, air kisses, and refreshing Kanon cocktails, it was a night that will be difficult to top.

Drinking, Shopping, and Planking At Revolve Clothing's LA Trunk Show

We usually don’t care much for shopping, unless said shopping involves a stop at a liquor store. But when you add a cocktail into the equation, we’re always more likely to get on board for just about anything. And when we heard about a trunk show at Revolve Clothing in collaboration with Refinery29, featuring a few cool brands like Luv AJPenelope and Coco, and Katie May, it sounded like a good opportunity to give that shopping thing another try. We asked one of our favorite bloggers, Rachel Nguyen of That’s Chic to come along with us and after a drink (or two), our shopping woes were washed away.

The New Museum and Dossier Journal Present: Ostalgia

We found ourselves at the New Museum downing delicious cocktails with Dossier Journal for the opening of the new exhibit “Ostalgia”– featuring works from more than fifty artists on life and art under Communism with the “romantic belief in the power of art as a transformative, almost curative agent.” But while we may not be art experts, we do know that the pieces in the exhibit were pretty amazing, and we recommend you get yourselves down to Bowery to check it out for yourselves.

    Shark Attack Soundz Celebrates America

If you've ever been to Montauk for 4th of July weekend, you know all too well that Ben Pundole's Shark Attack Soundz party is the place to be. The fact that it's held at a spot called Rick's Crabby Cowboy Café should be your first clue as to why. But with one of the hottest guest lists we've ever seen (three words: Victoria's Secret models), an awesome roster of DJs including Chelsea Leyland, Cheeky Pantz and Pun Geezy, inflatable shark props, and yours truly heading up the cocktails, it really was a recipe for a perfect summer night.

    Midsummer Lovin' in LA

The best thing about being a vodka is that we can be EVERYWHERE at once. The best part about Midsummer (let us count the ways), is that we were able to have a great time not only in New York this year, but across the country in LA too. Because we’re such responsible drinkers (always eat before you drink!), we held a lunch at the Sunset Marquis with friends and FOKs of the California variety. We were joined by an eclectic, standout crowd– people like designer and FOK Jeremy Scott, Krystal Simpson, actor and director Eli Roth, blogger Geri Hirsch and one of our favorite music bloggers Diana Miller, who tweeted, “I love summertime, day-parties, music and vodka”–all we can say is, you’re not alone, Diana.

The Party of the Year: Swedish Midsummer Overtakes NYC

Something very surreal happens when you've been waiting for a particular moment for an entire year and that moment finally comes. Such was the case this on June 24th– and it can pretty much be summed up into one word: Midsummer. Our favorite Swede blogger Elin Kling hung out with us all night (sporting her DIY floral crown from Ovando Flowers), along with our other friends and FOKs, Kelly Framel of The Glamourai, The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr. and Fabrizio Moretti, FOK photog Bronques, Magnus Berger, and more. Lydia Kellam of The Swede Beat followed by Zara Zachrisson and May Kwok helped us get the party started. And just when we didn't think it could get any better, newly formed duo Binki Shapiro and Adam Green took the stage. By the time their set was over and The Misshapes had taken over the DJ table to finish off the night's tunes, the entire party had relocated to the dance floor.

PS- We Drank and DIYed at Elie Tahari!

We descended upon the rainy Hamptons, but were thankful to have plans with Elie Tahari and Erica Domesek (of PS I Made This) on Saturday afternoon, which provided a welcome respite from the torrential downpours that made our Jitney ride resemble more of an entrance into the Twilight Zone. We're no DIY experts, but we have to say, after a few of our Picnic and Eastside cocktails (which by the way might be two of the best Kanon cocktails we've crafted yet), we were stringing beads onto ribbon like pros.

Eyefly's Launch Party Brings Out Nicky Hilton and More

We've never been surrounded by so many spectacle wearing New Yorkers in one room as we were at this event. No, we weren't in Williamsburg– not even at a dive bar on the LES for that matter. We were actually in Soho (cue gasps). What, you ask could possibly prompt such an unlikely occurrence? Well, the launch of Bluefly's new eyewear-dedicated site Eyefly, for one. Everyone including Nicky Hilton, Mickey Boardman, Kelly Cutrone, Dani Stahl and David Thielebeule had a blast taking turns between testing various frames that lined the walls and sipping our Kanon cocktails. Which makes sense. Playing dress-up is always more fun when you've put a few drinks down the hatch, in our opinion.

    SHFT.com Celebrates Two Webbys!

You’d think we were racking up major airline points this week with all the events we have going on both coasts. Yes, we are EVERYWHERE. Magical, right? We had such a great time with Krystal Simpson at Lykke Li's concert that she came along with us to celebrate our favorite new website, SHFT.com's, Webby Award wins. A house in the Hollywood hills, a pool overlooking the view (KANONballs anyone?), a strong cocktail in hand, and wing-woman Krystal by our side– what more could a vodka ask for?

Krystal Simpson and Lykke Li Rock On

While we love frequenting the West Coast, it’s not often we get to head out there, so when we do, we make sure it’s for a really good reason (see: Coachella). What brought us out here this time was none other than our favorite Swedish singer and FOK Lykke Li (told you it was a good reason). We turned to one of our favorite bloggers, Krystal Simpson of What is Reality Anyway to give us a different perspective on the show from what we saw in New York. Known for her killer Penny Lane style, we knew she’d give us an appropriately rock ‘n' roll take on the night- and she delivered.

Kicking Off The Kanon Summer Series At The Hudson Hotel

We kicked off our Kanon Summer Series with the Hudson Hotel on their Sky Terrace with an incredible list of cocktails to drink overlooking an incredible view, and with an even more incredible host, Pamela Love.

The cocktails flowed nicely, and of course, we made sure to taste each one on the menu. It’s safe to say we weren’t picking cocktail favorites last week (they’re like our children, we wouldn't dare choose). Plus Paul Sevigny was at the DJ table. It really doesn’t get better than dancing to the Jackson 5 with a cocktail in hand, while taking in a view of the entire city.

    Let the Bidding Wars Begin!

Kanon was there for the annual art auction benefit for Free Arts at the Chelsea Museum and honestly, who can say no to enjoying a cocktail while supporting positive organizations at the same time? Not us. Plus, with the auctioning that went down last night, we like to think we played an integral part in the event's success– after all, there's nothing like a little liquid lubrication to give people false confidence in their bank accounts. We had a blast hanging with the fashionable art crowd who assembled to bid on pretty spectacular art– think Terence Koh, Hugo Guinness, Ed Ruscha all in one room.

Our Favorite Wingwoman, Man Repeller, Finds Out Why Art Rocks

Man Repeller came back into our lives for Art Rocks and we couldn't be happier. There's nothing like perusing a good fashion party with someone by your side who isn't afraid to snark on every feathered piece of fabric that walks by the bar. MR shared her experience at the Art Rocks benefit at the
