British-born artist, photographer and blogger, Kesh, has been tearing up the LA art scene for a while now. We sent her to the LAND Art Auction event where she snapped some photos of guests enjoying both the creative works and the drinks being served behind the bar. Nothing like a few Kanon cocktails to make that bidding card fly up faster than ever. Here's Kesh's recap of the night, both in words and pictures:
Kanon Vodka invited me to the LAND Art Auction.
70 artists' work were showcased throughout Hollywood's infamous Palihouse.
The silent auction began at 8pm.
We browsed.
We drank.
We talked.
We laughed.
10pm and the live bidding began.
Thousands of dollars were called through the air.
And a few collectors from all over the world went home happy.
