Here at Kanon we've been super busy preparing to tear up New York Fashion Week, but our motherland on the other side of the Atlantic (that's Sweden, for those of you who've missed the boat) has had its fair share of events as well. From August 11 through the 13th, Gothenburg Sweden's Slottsskogen Park played host to Way Out West, one of the best music festivals in Europe with a plethora of international A-listers (Robyn, Kanye, and Prince to name a few) and an organic agenda to boot.
We teamed up with local nightlife guru Saurabh Sinha and Stockholm-based photo blogger Salvatore Scappini to create a VIP bar for an awesome albeit slightly fuzzy weekend of environmentally-friendly fêteing. A slew of Swedish notables including blogger and Kanon FÖK Elin Kling, actor Joel Kinnaman, and singers Oskar Linnros and Agnes stopped by between sets to kick it with the Kanon team and enjoy pitchers of Angry Bird cocktails (20 cl Kanon, 20 cl passionfruit juice, 40 cl Ginger beer). Check out the photos courtesy of our newest FÖK and general man about town Fredrik Etoall; we may not exactly remember everything, but we must admit it looks pretty damn good.
