Here at Kanon, we like to keep you in the loop. We're always telling you about the best parties, the best DJs, and the best cocktails for your sipping needs. We thought it might be time to let you get to know US a little better. It's time to let you see the real Kanon.
1. We're Clever: Kanon isn't just a name we dreamt up one day. A long, long time ago we created vodka for the workers in the Akers Styckebruk cannon factory--thus "Kanon" was only fitting. Obviously we've got serious street cred in Sweden having inspired the cannon makers needed by the Swedish army. So tough.
2. We're Old School: When we were reborn in 2008, we decided to keep things simple. So now, we use the same ingredients and processes to make our vodka that were used back in 1775. Like in clothing, we say vintage is the way to go when you want something unique and extra special.
3. We're Fuel: Not only do we fuel the buzz that makes your nightlife amazing, we can also fuel your cars. When we distill Kanon, we bottle the best part (the heart) and donate the rest to be used for ethanol fuel to power eco-friendly cars. Serious drive.
4. We're Locals: Our entire Kanon creation process, from wheat to bottle, is done within a three-mile radius. We're talking water from our own well and wheat from four local farmers. Locals Only.
5. We're Not Trashy: Every piece of refuse (trash, duh) we create, we reuse. Our distillery is powered by wind and water power, and the steam produced while fermenting our wheat powers our offices--we bet you didn't even know that was possible. Our bottles are even made from recycled materials...so get a candle, stick it in your empty Kanon bottle, and join the revolution!
