We could get quite used to the California way of life. Laidback, sunny skies, beach trips at the drop of a hat, and a continuous commitment to organic lifestyles (sound familiar?). We're fitting in around SoCal, but we know there's a whole other side of the state to explore. Anthony Bourdain once said, "San Francisco is a two drink town- and by two drinks, I mean one in each hand"-- as if the Golden Gate Bridge weren't enough to grab our attention. We knew there had to be a good reason why Tony Bennett left his heart in the City By The Bay.
So we're taking that roadtrip up the 101 Highway, and heading to San Francisco as the next stop on our journey to total U.S. takeover. For a town that loves to compost and stay as sustainable as possible like we are, it just made sense. Plus, the city is a foodie's dream, where arguably some of the best restaurants in the world exist. Did we also mention the world-renowned mixology bars? Yes, those make us very happy too.
Chronicle writer Herb Caen may have said it best, "One day if I do go to heaven, I'll look around and say- it ain't bad, but it ain't San Francisco," and if that's not enough of a glowing recommendation, we're not sure what is. Look for us soon in SF- we'll be the ones sitting on the dock of the bay; cocktail in hand, of course.
