Our Friends of Kanon NYFW Instagram Viewer is LIVE!

This Fashion Week, we decided to top ourselves once again– and that usually means doing something that's never been done before (see: livestreaming a blogger for 24 hours). This time around, we've taken one of our favorite social media platforms, Instagram, and reimagined it the Kanon way. On our Friends of Kanon NYFW Instagram Viewer, we've allowed you to access all of the best Fashion Week Instagrams in one place as they happen– so you don't have to waste time scrolling endlessly on your smart phone trying to find the good stuff.

When you live in a city as big as NYC, it can be hard to keep track of your friends, or in our case, our FOKs. And when it comes to a night like Fashion’s Night Out, it can be pretty near impossible with swarms of well-dressed people taking over the streets of nearly every neighborhood in Manhattan. So we’re making it easy for you and rounding up what some of our favorite FOKs are doing so you can best navigate through the city streets. Even better? FOK Portraits: Celebrating Midsummer

If we told you we’ve stopped talking about Midsummer, we’d be lying. Like kids after their first trip to Disneyland, we can’t help but point out every amazing detail or delicious memory we accrued. Truthfully, it was the most fun we’ve had in a long time (and that is saying A LOT), and we feel super lucky to have spent Friday with an abundance of tasty cocktails, floral crowns, rocking tunes and some of our favorite people.

Even more lucky? We had the duo from HELLO there to art direct and Jeremy Liebman there photographing our gorgeous guests– seriously, take a look at these portraits and you’ll see what we mean. Here’s a look at a few FOKs and folks who joined us at The Yard at the Soho Grand Hotel for Midsummer last week. If you haven't noticed, we're having a hard time admitting that the party's over.

New Year's Resolutions From Our FOKs!
If you’re like us, then you’re probably just as last minute with your New Year’s resolution making as you are with your holiday shopping. The only thing better about making late resolutions is that you’ve got a whole year to fulfill them, rather than, well, the day before Christmas. But in case you’re anal about setting your 2011 goals before 2011 actually hits, we’ve got a couple of ideas for you. First on the list would be: to chill out. Second, third, and fourth on the list? We left those suggestions up to our FOKs, who have some pretty lofty goals for the coming year. Between roller skating, learning German and drinking more Kanon (OK, we added that one) they’ve got plenty of ideas to keep you busy well into 2011.

Piera Gelardi, Refinery29: Every year I do a long list and a short list. The Long List: Get my license (finally), fix my record player, give blood twice, start an NYC explorers club, learn German, start a photo blog on my URL NoPinkYouStink.com, move apartments and offices, eat more pasta. The Short List: Do one nice thing every day.

Becka Diamond: My New Year's resolution is to keep working hard and being creative, and support my friends in doing the same!

Jenn Camp, Le Fashion: To get organized with all my email accounts and respond to all my emails more quickly. I hate when they pile up and I start to avoid them.
