Another WMC gone by, another year to wait for the next one. Good thing we racked up some pretty great memories this time around to last us for awhile. Here to recount the tale of The Standard's Lazy Sunday BBQ featuring Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe on the strings is Ria Michelle, our FOK and blogger extraordinaire.

Here's what Ria had to say:

Lazy Sunday was everything I wanted it to be. Kanon Strawberry Tea cocktail in hand, my friends and I sauntered around The Standard in our bikinis and flowy coverups and took in the amazing weather. Mother nature was definitely on our side with just the right amount of sun and a divine little breeze.

Lots of us got our grub on because the BBQ for Lazy Sunday is always on point. It was a nice change from the hectic party vibe of the previous few days; this party was definitely more low key and chill. Mia and Caitlin broke the mellow vibe once they took up residence in the DJ booth. Nobody can resist good tunes perfectly entwined with a violin. They're total favorites of mine and oh so stylish. They even got into the spirit, joining in on their own dance party.

Check out the pictures above to get transported back to our lazy Sunday spent in Miami. And don't forget to check out our Spotify app to listen to awesome tunes hand-picked by awesome WMC DJs, Mia Morretti included.

Now that we've had some time to get in on the Miami scene, we've made some great friends down South that we can count on to be there anytime we're in need of a good time beachside. Top of this list is Amanda Del Duca, the stylish blonde blogger who has been showing us the Miami ropes. We were psyched to reunite with her last weekend for WMC, and as always, an awesome time ensued. But don't take our word for it. Read on to get Amanda's take on the weekend, including her personal photos from the 4-day non-stop party.

Here's what Amanda had to say:

I've lived in Miami Beach for almost three years now and have had three completely different WMC experiences. My first Winter Music Conference in 2010 was the most adventurous. I braved the Ultra tents with thousands of 18 year olds tranced by music and the heat. While I was there, it was nothing short of amazing. Now, thinking back, it more resembles The Hunger Games.

Needless to say, last year I gave WMC a break and holed up in my apartment hiding from the raging masses. You know when you experience something so hard the first time, you are instantly jaded? My second WMC was something like that - posing as a bored local who just couldn't possibly do Ultra that year.

Getting in touch with Kanon for this year's WMC was a perfect antidote to my bad attitude. Posting up at The Standard pool with a never-ending supply of vodka and rotating DJs? Oh yes, I can do that.

My photographer, David, and I took full advantage of Kanon x The Standard's WMC lineup. Starting Thursday and ending Sunday, we checked into The Standard and basically never left. The poolside was the most perfect spot for a weekend of good music, good company and people watching. Laying back and sipping a cucumber Kanon cocktail while gorgeous models arrived by yacht was typical.

Flip through the slideshow to get the vibe of the weekend and stay tuned for a roundup of my WMC outfits!

Plus, don't forget to check out our Spotify app for hand-selected playlists from our DJ friends who partied with us at WMC.

We are definitely going to need a vacation to recover from the long weekend of dancing, drinking and socializing that has been this WMC. If you've been following us on Twitter or Instagram, then you're already well aware of this. Because people in Miami seriously don't stop partying. Not that we're complaining. We enlisted our FOK and blogger Ria Michelle to give her take on the epic weekend thus far, in case you need a second opinion. Check out her photo diary in the gallery above and read on for her weekend highlights.

Here's what Ria had to say:

I am unsure whether I can properly convey how amazing the past few days have been at The Standard Miami, with Kanon. I've had hectic mornings and nights all week, so Kanon's mid-day fêtes have been an amazing respite to relax, dance, catch up with old friends, make new ones, and of course sip on custom cockails. Each day I lay claim to a new favorite; there's been a battle between The Standard Strawberry Tea and the Cucumber Lemonade. I will say the Cucumber Lemonade is the more refreshing of the two and it has won two days in a row. We started with single cups but soon realized pitchers have become necessary.

When you've had a week of serious fun, coming back to reality can be something of a shock (especially when it's a Monday). Regardless, after a week of being on the go – cocktail in hand at all times of course – we're happy to be able to get a full eight hours of sleep tonight. As for our wing-woman Ria Michelle, we'd say she'd agree with that sentiment after we hit the town with her in full force this past week at Art Basel. The best part of a memorable week? Looking back at all the amazing art, people we met, and above all - the crazy delicious cocktails we imbibed. Don't believe us? Below we've included recipes for a few of the artist-inspired Kanon concoctions we presented at the Mallick Williams gallery throughout the week. We'd even consider these drinks a work of art in their own right (seriously, one of them has Sriracha in it). But don't take our word for it. Here are Ria's own final last words about one of the most exciting and exhausting weeks of 2011. Until next year!

Blogger, Miami-native, and all-around cool kid, Ria Michelle, let us in on her favorite Miami spots earlier this week. Now that Art Basel has taken over the city, we've made Ria our wing-woman. From relaxing at the rooftop bar of The Webster during the day, to Kanon-filled, artist-inspired cocktails this weekend- take a look at Art Basel through Ria's lens. What can we say? It’s a rough life sometimes.

Here’s what Ria has been up to:

Art Basel is in full swing. Baselers are gallery hopping, party hopping, and imbibing everything Miami has to offer. On that subject, I lounged at The Webster's rooftop bar for a little day drinking and experienced my favorite cocktail -- maybe ever. Kanon created a guava-infused cocktail which they served at the Refinery 29 / Case Scenario luncheon. Not to be cheesy but it tasted like magic filtered into my glass. It was fresh, it was sweet- kinda felt like biting into really amazing fresh fruit. I was on Instagram immediately after the first sip proclaiming my love.

Later that night at BLK DNM's fragrance launch, I had their specialty-drink called the BLK Bomber, which I also loved. The guava is still my favorite but I've got lots more Kanon creations to try as the week is far from over. Today I'm heading to the Mallick Williams Gallery at the Shore Club, which is showcasing installations and art from Kate Pane, Skullphone and Curtis Kulig. Kanon has created three cocktails inspired by each artist. I couldn't make it yesterday but I'll definitely be breezing through today (and Saturday) and sampling each one while I get my culture on- viewing the poolside artwork.

We know all people can think about these days are gift guides, Christmas trees and New Year's Eve plans, but 2011 ain't over yet folks. And it's a good thing, because we're pretty sure our 2011 highlight is about to be blown out of the water this week. We're kicking off our official entrance into the Miami liquor market with a bang and going all out for Art Basel (starting today) with 15 – yes 15 – and counting events set to inspire party-goers' creative sides AND taste buds. We're talking everything from underground street art showcases to fashion and fragrance collaborations to good old lazy lounging poolside in the Miami sun. Coming along for the ride this week is style blogger Ria Michelle who will be giving us (and you) her take on the week's events – so stay tuned to get her side of the story and read below to learn how a true Miami native gets ready for a city-wide art invasion – plus (in case you have some rare downtime) her favorite spots in the MIA.

Here's what Ria had to say:

To prepare for the upcoming Art Basel week of being out every single night, I played it cool. A Basel warm up of sorts. My birthday was this week and I wore leopard "Minnie" ears for the day to commemorate. I spent the day hanging out at the pool and taking in our amazing Miami November weather. Later in the week I headed to Midtown to enjoy Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill – one of the best tapas spots in Miami. On a good day there's a wait at Sugarcane, so I wanted to hit it up before Basel. We waited about an hour before being seated. We're about to hit a cold front here, so we broke out our light "jackets" and throughly enjoyed the cool night breeze.
