  • Celebrate Valentine's Day with a St. Valentine Kanon Cocktail

    Valentines

There are at least two great things about drinking vodka on Valentine's Day. For one, if you started off the night single, a couple of glasses of Kanon will give you all the social lubrication you need to strike up a conversation with that hot somebody at the bar. Or scenario B – after a few glasses of Kanon, you just won't give a damn whether you're single or not. Both great ways to go if you ask us. So if you're all about having a good time, even on what is potentially the loneliest day of the year, start it off right with our St. Valentine's cocktail. If attached, it's also a great way to impress your significant other – the key trick at hand being the rose petal garnish. Trust us on this one.

    2 1⁄2 parts kanon
    3 strawberries - cored
1 celery leaf (size of a thumb)
    splash lime juice
Muddle, strain, serve up in a martini glass. Garnish with rose petals.

February 14th means different things to different people. To us, it's really just another opportunity to get our drink on. Obviously we don't miss out on any cause for celebration. So we say ditch the boring dinner plans, check your cheesiness at the door and come celebrate Valentine's Day in style: with Kanon and Fool's Gold at the Palihouse in LA. We're thinking that with a little Kanon in your glass, you won't even need an intervention from Cupid to find a lover.
