The only thing we love more than drink? Food. And of all of the many food bloggers that we follow and love, one of our favorites is definitely Fiona Tang over at Foodspotting. The site is not only a visual guide to food but also helps you know where to go to find it. Fiona has an eye for all things delicious and it doesn't hurt that Foodspotting doesn't just have some great food blogging going on, but also shares and writes about great events in real life too. Fiona sent us photos of a recent bi-coastal Wok + Wine event she attended with 40 pounds of shrimp, 40 bottles of wine, and 40 guests enjoying the hands-on food fest. We're always looking forward to reading about the spots Fiona frequents and what delicious eats she'll be enjoying next!

On Monday night we helped fete new style site naag.com with founders Agyness Deyn and Fiona Byrne, best friends who came together to put their own spin on fashion and style coverage. So, naturally, we turned to one of our good friends FOK (Friend of Kanon) Jenn Camp and brought her along to document the night and have a great time. You may recognize Jenn from some of our other Kanon events at our Hamptons house over the summer, but Jenn is best known for her work over at Le Fashion, Olsens Anonymous and Le Smoking, just to name a few. Girlfriend writes no less than five blogs. Here's a look at what went down with Jenn's favorite pictures from last night and be sure to head on over to naag.com for more great fashion and lifestyle coverage

  • FOK Claire Thomas: A Day In The Life

If there's one thing we hold dear it's being able to hold our own in a conversation surrounding food and, more importantly, drink. How do we do it? With the help of a lot of research that involves on-site investigations—cocktails don't just drink themselves!—and the many friends of ours who document this stuff for a living to help point us in the right direction. One of our favorites? Claire Thomas, whose LA-based Kitchy Kitchen blog keeps us up to date on some amazing food happenings out west and some even better DIY cocktail recipes. We asked our newest Friend of Kanon to give us a look at what a typical day is like for a girl whose life is quite literally consumed with food, and here are the mouth-watering results. Spoiler Alert! She even created her very own Kanon cocktail recipe. And it's delicious.

    1

8:30 am: Every Wednesday morning you can find me tasting my way through the farmer's market in santa monica. This is my happy place where I go to check out what's in season and have my pre-breakfast oysters. Yeah, I get strange looks for this morning ritual but that cold ocean taste and shot of B-12 wakes me up better than the strongest cup of coffee.

    2

9:30 am: Next I pop by Huckleberry with my dear friend Laurel, a character straight out of Anne of Green Gables (seriously! look at the ribbon in her hair). She is a come to life Gibson girl and usually has a bun haphazardly piled on her head we've named the "cinnamon bun." Speaking of baked goods, Huckleberry has the best breakfast in town, without a doubt.  Their apple turnover is so good it's a little depressing. I always buy a second one to bring home for my brother, and then sort of black out and wake up covered in flakes before we pull in the driveway.  I think I have a problem.

As if Elizabeth Spiridakis’ post wasn’t enough of a Monday treat, now we get to see the night of the No.6 for 01 Magazine party through the eyes and lens of Café Con Lesley’s Lesley Arfin. From getting ready for the night to sipping delicious Kanon cocktails to introductions to pics of the totally cool crowd Lesley hangs with, these photos are worth way more than a thousand words. Here, Lesley’s take on the night:

This is me getting ready for the No.6/Kanon vodka party. I got this dress a few months ago but decided to debut it for this party. You can't really tell, but it's Fred Perry. I'm really into Fred Perry at the moment.

    Photo #2

I showed up and it wasn't insanely crowed yet, which was good. Can you tell what I immediately spotted from afar?

Last Friday night, we helped host a party at No.6 for 01 Magazine. Couldn't make it? Well, luckily we've got two of the hottest female bloggers in New York—and close, personal friends of ours—to tell you all about it. You may know Elizabeth Spiridakis from White Lightning and Café Con Lesley's Lesley Arfin. Both these ladies don't just know their way around a party but around pretty much everything else too, from music to fashion and everything in between. We're so glad they came and took the time out to share their thoughts on how it all went down. After all, could you think of anyone better to document a night out with? Here, Elizabeth’s take on the night:

Friday night I was psyched on hitting the Kanon/01 Magazine Party for a bunch of reasons, 3 very specifically: It was officially cape weather (my version of T-Shirt Time), I strongly support No.6 and their clog endeavors, and Lesley was meeting me there to hang. WINS cubed.

I got there before the space was packed which afforded me easy access to the alcohol (mint and lime are the way to my heart) and I actually got to peep the art; I have to say I was a big fan of this double printed color mountain mystic situation by someone named Sam Falls (real? Lucky duck); I hope he got 500 bones for it; if not how bout you call me.

Of course, FOK guest blogger Bryanboy has access to the coolest shows during New York Fashion Week. Here, his photos of the scene.

Fashion Week is all about going to the shows to see new clothes and accessories for the upcoming season, but what makes my job even more fun and exciting is the opportunity to meet talented and stylish people. It's amusing to see these personalities in print, online or in broadcast media (TV, etc) but meeting them in flesh is different altogether.

Here are some of my favorite familiar faces who brought a smile to my face over the past week.

Bryanboy is blogging for us about his experiences with this insane thing called New York Fashion Week. Here, his take on Marchesa spring/summer 2011.

The gorgeous Georgina Chapman (who, btw looked ultra svelte in spite of giving birth a few weeks ago) presented her dramatic spring/summer 2011 Marchesa collection at the Chelsea Art Museum yesterday afternoon.

I always look forward to seeing her phenomenal creations fit for the red carpet. There are no ordinary dresses; the amount of handiwork and detail involved are extraordinary.

Georgina said she was inspired by Orientalist paintings.

Marchesa collaborated with renowned shoemaker Christian Louboutin for shoes.

One of our favorite bloggers, boy wonder and outrageous fashion presence, Bryan Boy, is blogging for us about his experiences with this insane thing called New York Fashion Week. Here, his take on Fashion's Night Out:

What did you do during this year's Fashion's Night Out?

I started my evening uptown at the beauty floor of Bergdorf Goodman. Me and my fellow judges, Hamish Bowles, Catherine Malandrino and Trish McEvoy co-judged a contest searching for the next great make-up artist. Apres-Bergdorf, I was hoping to drop by the Dolce & Gabbana boutique on Madison but the traffic was so bad I instructed my driver to head to Meatpacking District instead to meet my friend Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast.

From there, we visited Ports 1961 who showed earlier during the day. They used real, live models instead of mannequins on their window displays; one of them wore a $16,000 silk chiffon dress from their spring/summer 2011 collection. We also visited the very crowded Helmut Lang where party snapper Mark Hunter aka The Cobrasnake hung out. Our final pit stop was the Theory store where Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt DJed. I also bought a stunning black silk tee.

Some may say it was the biggest street block party New York has seen in years but if you were to ask me, American Vogue's Fashion's Night Out was an amazing celebration of fun, frolics, and fashion!

  • Bryan Boy: Night Out with Kanon

If there was ever anyone that embodied the flair and fierce persona of fashion week, it's one of our favorite bloggers, Bryan Grey-Yambao or Bryan Boy. The blogging phenomenon has taken over the streets of New York (decked out in head-to-toe leopard Spring 2011 Givenchy, of course), running around the city with and meeting the who's-who of fashion (i.e. Terry Richardson, Scott Schuman, et al).

No fashion week is complete without the parties and Bryan let us tag along as he started his night with a little taste of Kanon. Check out his intense show and party schedule in our video above.

New York fashion week is upon us. That means no sleep, lots of drink, and some clothes thrown in the mix. It takes serious talent to make this week look fun. One guy possessing that kind of talent is Bryan Grey-Yambao, otherwise known as BryanBoy. Bryan’s made a name for himself as one of the most influential bloggers in the world. Hell, Marc Jacobs named a bag after him. This week, Bryan’s bringing all his (good) baggage to Kanon and guest blogging for us. Which means we have the most famous fashion blogger on our team. Which means we rule, humbly.

You know how you get home from work and plan on doing, oh, an hour or so of personal business? It might be walking your dog, paying bills, or meditating – it’s something other than your 9 to 5. Also, you know how you pretty much never do that? Well, Jenn Camp doesn’t know that feeling. Jenn’s the editor of five blogs, yes FIVE blogs, including Le Fashion, Le Love, Olsens Anonymous, and Le Smoking just to name a couple. Enough to take up a whole day, right? Wrong. Jenn’s also going to grad school at Columbia. And guess what our friend Jenn agreed to do with her weekend? Blog for us. She rules.

But we have to say this weekend’s party, co-hosted by Grand Life and featuring a live performance by The Rapture, wasn’t exactly a tough day at the office. Read this and get to yoga.

One of our most favorite FOK's (Friend of Kanon) ever ever ever, Elizabeth Spiridakis, the prolific and cool-as-hell blogger from Feels Like White Lightning, came to our Saturdays Surf party this weekend, and not only did she take a bunch of pictures for us, she guest-wrote our very own exclusive post. Read her version of the party here--trust us, she probably had the most fun out of everyone period. From Elizabeth:

Have you ever had an enormous luxury bus full of capital C Cool people pull off the L.I.E. and wait just for you to catch up to it in your yellow cab, just so you can roll with them to the Hamptons? No? I have. This past Saturday. It's about as mortifying as it sounds.
