    You may, hopefully, be living vicariously through us. We don’t blame you friend– Coachella, Midsummer, 4th of July, etc etc etc – it’s been a pretty sick summer. You also may live somewhere across North America that doesn’t exactly have the greatest liquor or grocery store. Don't be mad at that because you probably don’t have Taco Bell/Baskin Robbins combo stores or 63,000 unnecessary Starbucks – both good things. The lack of a quality liquor store that may or may not sell Kanon, however? Not so good.

    As always, the Internet comes to the rescue. Seems like that damn web thing has been making moves these days?! Park Ave Liquor Shop-- yea it may have a name suggesting only a brick and mortar location but PALS is one of the greatest FOKs around- go indulge your libations liberally cuz duh, guess what you can find there?     Wow. Yes, wow.  How are we even constructing sentences right now. Yuck, that rhymed. But anyway, our party is well under way in Southampton. We braved taxis, boats, and helicopters to get here and it was well worth it. The cocktails are flowing, the fireworks are exploding, and the tattoos are, uh, inking? Bottom line is that The Americans killed it on our stage/deck and Chrissie Miller is DJing like her life depends on it. It rules, we’re having fun and we’re gonna leave now and continue having fun. More later.

    Thanks to Laura Taylor for the amazing polaroid photos that she took at our Kanon Organic Vodka pool party in Palm Springs for Coachella 2010. We had hosts Chrissie Miller and Madeleine Von Froomer from Sophomore, Andre Saraiva from Le baron Paris and Jen Eyemere from Jalouse Magazine. The music was from Leo Fitzpatrick, Chris Taylor from Grizzly Bear, Ehtan Silverman from Terrible Records and Jus Ske. Our Drinks were designed by our own Stefanie Marco and crafted and served by Yael Vengroff and Scott Teague from Painkiller NYC.

    Corporations have no friends. They have employees. Employees who are paid to blindly care about their company and what it is about. At Kanon, we are a group of people who have built a product on passion.
